by photochick~ Nesting is in full swing around these parts, complete with stocking up on 50 rolls of toilet paper, 8 rolls of my favorite paper towels, 3 packages of paper plates, 3 packages of plastic cups, one package of paper bowls, two packages each of forks and spoons, two packages of gallon and quart ziplock bags . . . should I continue?
And yes, we do plan on filling up our very own landfill in the first few weeks of this newborn's life. Because frankly, when you're sleep deprived pesky things like saving the earth come in a far second to saving, I don't know, your sanity. Maybe not sending Christmas cards (remember this?) last year will balance things out a bit. :-)
I digress, the real purpose of this post was to share one very overdue project that has been checked off my "to do" list amidst the nesting frenzy. You may remember this post where I shared a series of photos of my grandmother making dumplings. For her Christmas present I put the photos together in a collage. A collage I loved so much I wanted one of my own.
Finally, I have one hanging in my hall!
The insert that reads "Granny, Dumpling Maker."
The collage hangs in our hall with two special photos above it of my other grandmother and my husband's grandmother (both now deceased) holding Punkin when he was a tiny. The collection hangs at the end of the hall with Punkin's room on one side and the new baby's room on the other. It seems very fitting and makes me happy every time I walk by it.
That's priceless!

The collage and pictures are great. I know your grandmother and I can appreciate what an awesome, special lady she is!! It was so nice meeting you Sunday! I also got to meet Cubanchick, so now I have seen all the chicks in person.

That is priceless. I wish I had something like this of my grandparents. It will be something that you cherish the rest of your life.
