by plannerchick ~ So after perusing a few blogs (here and here and here), and spending the last 2 weeks feeling like I had nothing to blog about, I've decided to be a copycat, but in a good way. I always feel like I have nothing to share about that would be of any interest. So I have decided to spend the month of March (to the best of my ability) relaying the beautiful things in my life, and to spend my time putting into others, and stop worrying so much about my own concerns.
The blessings, the things that make me happy, things that I am thankful for. It's time for a new outlook, scripture says that you cannot add an hour to your life by worrying, and I for one am tired of trying to buy time.
As for the putting into others part, I might drop a few things here and there as to what I am doing, but I don't want to give to much away as a lot of folks that I know read this blog. I do know I am going to make myself step outside of a few comfort zones. This may sound laughable but when it comes to talking to people I don't know so well, I am completely shy and really have to force myself to do it!
So expect to hear and see a lot of my baby boy as he makes me incredibly happy! My wonderful husband and big chicklet, friends, fam, and assortment of randomness. Feel free to leave comments about what has made your day today, whether it be a compliment from someone, a particularly good piece of cake, a smile from your favorite person, whatever. It's time to look for the positive and to quit with all of the focus on the negative!
Well you know that I had to start with my baby boy. I put him down to play this morning while I fixed his cereal (thus the reason for no shirt). On my way into the kitchen I spotted a hat I bought for him that I had left to dry after washing it, so I went back and stuck it on his head. It was so cute I had to take a picture!
I love the weather outside today. It is overcast and super windy, there is just something about that smell in the air and the way it feels out there. It's raining now, and just so comfy!
I made the best salad today. With leftover grilled chicken, cheese, bacon, croutons, and honey mustard dressing. It tasted like it came from a restaurant and was delicious. I told hubby like 3 times how good it was!
So like I said, leave a comment telling what your beautiful things are. I started a day early and will try my best to keep it up. Have a great day, enjoy your Saturday!
