I need to hear more about number 8. You have been holding out.

Malyn

I second that Social! haha =)

It doesn't make for that great of a story, just a great random thing.

I was 18 years old and me and 3 friends had gone into the city the night before the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. They keep all of the parade floats on the West side of the Park so we were cutting through at about 1:00 a.m. to see them and apparantly you are not supposed to be in the park that late at night b/c a lot of people have been killed and mugged. so the police told us to go around. I have to admit it was pretty scary in there at night!

babychick

aww I need to come see that tooth!

singerchick

Yay for his first tooth and btw, I LOVED snuggling him last night. So now I'm over my fear of him crying when I hold him so I will be snuggling him much more in the future!

1. I am fascinated by who Jesus Christ is. How will He be if he walked the earth now? What type of impact would He have on today’s society? How will the leaders and movie stars really act when He does walk the face of the earth?
2. I think marriage is the greatest journey on the face on earth—no matter how challenging the journey will be. I am discovering more and more each day what love of a man for his wife really is. It’s deeper than anyone imagine. I couldn’t say if before I got married.
3. I have been blessed with a “good” life of where I lived, who I married. Who else can say that I’ve lived where I lived (see below), and discover more and more about the love of Jesus Christ as I get older and older. I am also being molded into someone more like the man that God wants me to be, characteristics of who Jesus Christ is, and prompted by God’s gift of my wife in my life.
4. It’s always been entertaining to consider how women think and act, differently than how men do. The question is not which sex is better than the other; the question is how we can really complement one another.
5. I marvel at the differences that my wife and I have: Taking her to work this afternoon she commented on how I like the blue, clear sunshine and how it’s hurting her eyes because she has had a headache for a few days.
6. Escaping into another world is always easier to deal with than the life we own.
7. It would make me really pleased if I received occasionally (at least, weekly)—the good stuff or the challenges they face—what’s going on with my friends and family.
8. People cannot comprehend how relaxing watching the news and engaged in politics gives me a sense of peace.
9. Having saying that, it concerns me that I can’t think of a proactive leader who I admire. The present economic condition could not be forecasted by anyone in government?
10. It’s too bad that so many politicians don’t have convictions in a philosophy and values, the process of getting elected over and over again.
11. I can’t wait to the start of the 2009 NASCAR season. My wife and I are planning to go to two races this year. We already purchased our first race of the year in April at Texas Motor Speedway. Normally, during that time of the year locally, the temperature is in the lower 70s and lower 50s.
12. Even though I follow NASCAR I don’t have a favorite driver. I enjoy the personality, competition and the colors!
13. Based upon what companies I support on an ongoing basis that isn’t sponsored in the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit, if I were a NASCAR owner or driver, it’ll be neat if Hallmark Cards, Amazon and P.F. Chang would sponsor my car.
14. The values of this world are definitely going south. I pray everyday to ensure that our nation focuses on values of right and wrong, not the pride and money obsession that our nation discovers so attractive.
15. The next four years in politics will create good drama. It’s going to be interesting how different standards are formed when one party is in power over the other. It just goes to show me that the life on earth should not be the focus than the life above!
16. P.F. Chang is still the best place to dine in and/or take out on a weekly basis.
17. I am happy taking being a follower. If I’m the leader, give me clear expectations, let me alone, but hold me accountable.
18. I was born in Hawaii, lived in California for ten years, and stopped off in St. Louis, until I ended up here.
19. I know I wouldn’t like living in the country. I would have to live no more than a thirty minute drive to a “big” city.
20. I wish that I could own my own business working my own hours.
