by socialchick~ One of my favorite recipes in Chex Muddy Buddies. Not only is it good to eat but it also makes a great gift. You can poor some into a bag and put a bow on it and you have a delicious gift.
9 cups of Chex cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
Stove-Top Directions: Into large bowl. measure cereal; set aside. In 1-quart saucepan, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stiffing until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Microwave Directions- Into large bowl. measure cereal; set aside. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, stir together chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
You can also be creative and call this rein dear droppings or snow man poop for your Christmas parties.
HA HA, I still get to be the one to bring it for my sweet!! lol

Jessica- that's because you don't have kids. If you are under the age of 7 and are a boy there's nothing greater in the world than the thought of eating reindere poop.

I love this recipe. IT's great anytime of year!!! We literally went through 45 cups of chex mix through Thanksgiving. WOW... that's a lot when you say it like that....but it was the hit of all our parties!!!!!11
