by sassychick ~ This was an easy one for me. When I think of Christmas, this is what comes to mind as my favorite memory growing up during the holidays.
We always spent Christmas Eve at my Grandparents in Billingsley, AL. They had a big house and we all piled up, my, my parents and my mom's two sisters and brother and their entire families in the great room which overlooked the living room. The great room was seperated from the living room by a gold railing that ran the length of the room. Every single person in the family had a stocking hung from that rail. On Christmas morning it wasn't about the presents, which there were ALWAYS too many of, it was about finding your stocking and see what it was stuffed with.
Those were the things that made me fall in love with Christmas and boy you don't even know how much in love with this time I really am.
No wonder you put up Christmas decorations in October.
