This is a good list. I appreciate you aiming high. Im like that.

Grambe

I will get you the Mamma Mia DVD! lol!

Jessica W.

I can't wait for Mamma Mia to come out Tuesday! A Wii looks like so much fun...too bad it's pricey. Maybe I'll get one for my b-day and next Christmas.

Uncommonblonde

I love that you wish big, I do too! I hope you get some of these goodies ;)

Well I think your list is reasonable so many of those things are needs... i.e:
1. vacation (you need sanity)
2. new floors (for the kids)
3. Wii (sanity and the kids would have fun just pretending to play- trust me- I have one and it is fun!)
4. Coach Wallet (I am sure no one thinks you should be without the wallet that matches your purse
5. Mamma Mia DVD (again, sanity!)
6.SLR camera (duh, gotta get the good pics fast and that is soooo important- for the kids!)
7. Jadore perfume (gotta smell good outside of soap and deodorant- NO one can argue with that)
8. Puppy (all kids need to grow up with man's best friend- you can't deny your kids of that priviledge!!! What kind of parent would you be???)

Ok socialchick I hope that I have helped your cause. I think the list is reasonable... costly... but so many necessities there between sanity and the kids I am just not seeing anything that could be deleted. Great list girlie!

I am still working on my list but thanks for the ideas! :)

Just some advice since I own two of these things! The cocker spaniel I've had since 1999. She celebrates her tenth (!) birthday next May, and let me tell you she is DRAMA with fur. Total medical bills have run me in the thousands...no kidding. I went without textbook money one semester to have her surgery on her hip. With that said though, I wouldn't trade her for a million bucks. Violet has seen me through some dark days! Josh says he would trade her, however, for a McRib. I would laugh, but he's totally serious. I had her when we met, so he had to accept her since she was part of the package.

The wood flooring is the other thing. I got rid of my horrendous carpet (again, I have kids too so mine looked like someone had been murdered several times on our beige carpet because of all the juice stains). We got the cheapest kind from Jerkins and Josh literally did our entire living area, dining room, hallway, and kitchen in one night. We got the click/lock kind - not sure of the name. Cost us less than $2000 though. Pros - looks pretty when clean, don't have to vaccum as often. Cons - looks pretty only when clean, vaccum replaced by constant mopping.

Good luck with your list...I will live vicariously through you this Christmas! I took ten weeks of unpaid leave with my little bundle, so that was my Christmas gift to me :-)

Sorry for the multiple posts...I wanted to tell you good luck getting some of your wish list items!!!

damaris

i am soooo wanting to go to the mountains. i've never just stayed in the mountains..only driven through on a trip to somewhere else. i would love a camera but can't justify it with no kiddies.

as much as i love gifts, i can't make up my mind on what i want this year...very weird for me!

damaris

oh...and i know you and hub deserve a trip..ya'll are busy with 2 girls.. that can be tough and exhausting.. so of all your wishes, i hope you get that one!

Lisa Taylor

Can't help you with your list. However, if the kiddies would let me keep them, they could stay with me. However, I imagine that I would have to go through Grambie first. Not even going to go there. LOL!

As for the Wii, I found my dad a knock off for $39 at Dollar General. I'm sure the graphics aren't quite as good. But hey, for $250 less, dad can learn to live with it. I'll let you know what I think when we play the no name brand version on Christmas day.

amy

Not to brag but I am going on a girls cruise with my aunts, cousins, siter and Mom the end of Jan. I can't wait!! I do feel a little guilty for leaving the hubby behind. I hope you get everything on your list. Miracles do happen. One more question Have you been a GOOD girl??????????
