by photochick~ It is 8:15 Tuesday night and I'm sitting on the couch listening to my son, who I lovingly tucked in his bed 20 minutes ago, lay in the floor in our hallway signing a totally random, made up song that exists only in his mind.
Anything to keep himself awake. And out of his room. And cute enough to keep me from booting his rear back to his bed. At least until I get a little chuckle from it.
I swear, he is the easiest child on earth to get off his schedule. He was sleeping really well in his "big boy bed," going to sleep entirely by himself and sleeping through the night without waking up even once. That's a lot to say considering a few months ago he suddenly became scared of all thing "night night" from dinosours to monsters and we spent more than one month getting him back to his bed confidantly.
Then came the trip to the state tournament and disney. Four nights in the bed with momma and daddy left him entirely unruly at bedtime.
So on to the races. The test of wills between mom and kid. A classic tale that I WILL win if it kills me. And it just might.
It won't kill you, but be prepared for this fall-back to happen many, many, many times! Laney will be going good and then suddenly after several months will end up in our bed each night...until we threaten to put up the crib rail on her "big girl bed". That usually does the trick!

If I remember correctly Mr. Photo had sleeping issues as well.

I hope it gets back to normal for ya'll soon. It can be very frustrating when there's a test of wills involved. I'm confidant that mommy will win this one.

I have to come over one night at bed time, I would love to hear this. I love hearing little ones sing to themselves!
I've heard social chicklet do it as well! It is the cutest!
