I am- the Bossy Chick . . . I was given this name by social chick after I bossed an entire room of adults. I was offended, nay affronted by her accusation. But after realizing that my husband often calls me “Boss Lady” I decided it was the perfect chick name. So....... you do what I say!

I am bossy . . . because for the past five years I have worked in child care and it is in my blood to instruct people on what to do. I’m use to hearing “Yes Mam” as a response that I even have corrected my husband when he answers me with “uh huh”. To which he responds “I’m not in your class Boss Lady”. I can’t say that it started then, like I mentioned earlier it is in my blood. My mema is bossy, my mom is bossy, my aunts are bossy, and you get the picture.

I am the bossy wife . . . of the most tolerant, loving, wonderful man( who, by the way doesn’t let me boss him) that God created just for me, and my children. Let me explain, I had two children when we met, and that fact never fazed him. He always looked at them as icing on the cake not as baggage. In May our family of four became five. Being married to him,is what God intended marriage to be and I thank Him everyday for this man.

I am the bossy mother . . . of three beautiful kids. Big Girl is 9, The Boy is 7, and Baby Girl is 3 months. My daughter is “bossy” in training and is loving and wonderful. My son is a ball of energetic cuteness who keeps us laughing. My baby girl is a complete joy who has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Being a mom is the hardest, most fulfilling job God has given me the privilege to experience.

I am the bossy creation . . . of my Father God who created me fearfully and wonderfully (not to mention bossy). Through Him I am the head not the tail, on top not beneath, blessed going in and blessed going out, and I have the mind of Christ. I embrace my authoritative personality and channel it to do God’s will in my life. I know that God has called me to not fear the faces of men.

I am bossy and . . . I love to laugh loud (specifically at Sassy’s and Mr. Singer’s jokes). I am sarcastic (which could also be described as SASSY but that was taken, I’m just sayin). I have a quick wit. I am loving. My favorite thing in the world to do is scare small children, if you think that is mean then you are lying to yourself , it is screaming good fun (no pun intended) you should try it.
