I have been wanting this movie for a very long time, and when they released a platinum edition last week, I knew that I had to have it!
This ties with The Little Mermaid, and Cinderella for my favorite cartoon of all time!!!!

by plannerchick ~ Okay is anyone else watching this season? These are my observations so far.
The girl Shaye, who is an actress, and a drama queen seriously needs to go home. Seriously, these were her comments. "I just want him all to myself, I don't want to compete with all these other girls". Umm hello, do you know what tv show you signed up for? Yeah it was the one where the whole premis is to compete with other women for one mans attention. Stupid yes, perhaps a bit immoral, maybe, but somehow it continues to draw me in, like a moth to a flame.
While the new bachelor is hot, he is already seeming a bit to kissy, kissy, touchy, touchy. He has kissed a couple of girls, and is all holding them close. Again not that I expect the show to have morals, but come on!
The things these women will do to grab his attention continues to astound me. I mean if one more woman sings, there have been at least 3 this season so far, and we are only on the 2nd episode. One woman bit into a coke can, while another opted for the classic move of giving him her underwear. I mean if I had known this was all it took to get a man, hubby and I could have just skipped on the silly dating and getting to know each other.
The girl with the chronic hiccups is cracking me up. Poor thing! I am rooting for her though she is from a town not to far from here, and she seems to be super sweet.
That's all I've got! Can you tell I am bored, I actually logged on to blog about the bachelor. I have been sitting in the recliner since I got home from work, and its about to drive me crazy. Apparantly the sniffles that I blogged about earlier have turned into a cold with a fever. I'm taking medicine which is making me better, but oh so ready to get up!!
Okay so I was proofing my blog while watching the roseless girls give thier parting comments and I just had to add one more thing. I won't tell you who is going, so without giving to much away. One of the girls just said, and I quote, "I am glad to be going home, I really miss my cat, I can't wait to hold her in my arms and listen to her purr, she is the one true love in my life".,,........................Well maybe if you hadn't sang to him, just sayin................
by plannerchick ~ Okay so what could be better. Broadway musical made into a movie, check! Even better Broadway musical made into a movie, AND using nothing but ABBA songs (especially Dancing Queen, Love that one!!!) CHECK.
I remember telling social check (my partner in crime in the love of all things dancing and singing) about this movie earlier this year, but I just had to share it with everyone else. I am so excited for this movie, I can hardly stand myself. To bad I have to wait until July 18th, and I do mean July 18th I will be seeing this one on opening weekend!!!
by babychick~this past weekend we took a family trip to destin. if you live around here you know that this place is a shoppers dream. we went to get hubby and chicklet some new summer clothes, due to chicklet sprouting up like a weed. we shopped and shopped and shopped, until we all dropped. we had planned on seeing a movie while we were down there, but after we ate lunch we all decided we were just too tired.
i had money to shop for myself but i just couldn't see any sense in buying new clothes when i would be growing out of them in a couple of months. this was really hard for me, because if i've got money to spend on clothes i usually don't think twice. so the whole time i was a little bummed, until we got to an outrageously expensive store that i usually won't step foot into unless i'm going to buy. i had been thinking about getting a new purse for quite some time now. purses are not my favorite thing to buy because i can never find one i just really really love. i had been searching the web for a month or two debating on whether to spend so much money on something that i might carry for more than a month.
so we went into this store and low and behold they were having a huge sale, still not sold on spending that much money on a purse. but as i started to look around i found two i really liked. i carried them around the store for about fifteen minutes until a sales associate stopped me and told me the one that i really liked was even less expensive than the price tag said. so that made up my mind on which one i wanted, but not on buying. after a long discussion with hubby, and him kind of talking me into it telling me to go ahead that it wasn't going to hurt anything, i bought the purse.
i'm not going to tell you what kind it is or how much i paid for it because i'm definitly not bragging. i usually never spend this kind of money on myself, i like the sale rack and i like to get more for my money. but let me tell you this is a one time thing and i won't do it again for a long time. but it was worth it, i got everything i wanted and it was just kind of nice to splurge for myself.
by photochick~we finally broke down and purchased internet service today, so while i have it for a few hours i thought i'd post a bazillion photos!
we're having a great time. headed to see cirque de solei (sp??) tonight and grand canyon tomorrow. and then home to see my punkin (which is what i'm looking most forward to right this minute!). as much as you need a break sometimes, being away from the kiddos is hard. crazy!
i am LOVING more than anything, taking photos everywhere we go. it's so much fun.
and to planner chick: still no "in and out" to be found. grrrr. maybe on the road trip to the canyon tomorrow. we can hope. :-)
